The Conflicts Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the Firm's conflict checking and risk management processes, helping identify, analyze, and resolve potential conflicts of interest associated with new clients and matters. The role works closely with Partners, offices, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with professional responsibility obligations and Firm policies.
Main responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Firm, Partners, and offices regarding conflicts management matters
• Review Conflicts Management Requests (CMRs) to ensure information is accurate, complete, and properly documented
• Identify and analyze potential conflicts of interest and recommend appropriate resolutions in accordance with Firm policies and professional responsibility requirements
• Communicate directly with Partners and other stakeholders to facilitate conflict clearance and matter onboarding
• Obtain conflict waiver documentation when required to support business intake activities while protecting client relationships and Firm interests
• Maintain detailed records of conflict analysis, resolutions, and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes
• Ensure adherence to conflicts management policies and escalate complex issues when appropriate
• Process requests within established service level agreements and quality standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and departmental projects
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across integral teams and service centers
Skills and experience:
• Undergraduate degree or relevant professional experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
