Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly accounting deliverables and deadlines
- Review and ensure accuracy of accounting work
- Participate in monthly and annual closings
- Prepare and analyze the General Ledger, Profit & Loss (P&L;), and Balance Sheets
- Support Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Finance, CFO, etc.)
- Respond to client accounting inquiries promptly and professionally
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax processes

What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing multiple tasks or clients simultaneously
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or other frameworks)
- Strong Excel and digital tool skills
- Advanced / bilingual English for client communication
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact with clients and teams at different levels
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience

About the Role

An established U.S. public accounting firm is looking to add a remote Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to its team. This role supports a U.S.-based client and requires working hours aligned with U.S. Eastern Time.

Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Record and review adjusting journal entries
- Support preparation of U.S. individual and business tax returns
- Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate closely with the U.S.-based team for review and sign-off
