The firm helps founders and leadership teams build reliable financial operations without the cost of a full in-house finance department.

Role Description The Accounting Analyst is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting and finance activities for client companies. This role includes preparing and analyzing financial statements, posting and reviewing journal entries, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting month-end close processes. The Accounting Analyst will help maintain US GAAP-compliant records, contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts, and provide data and analysis for cash flow, margins, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance,



including knowledge of core accounting principles and US GAAP.
• Handle recurring bookkeeping: invoicing, collections, bill payments (per approval flow) and payroll processing
• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements with attention to accuracy and consistency.
• Proficiency in recording and reconciling Journal Entries (Accounting) and supporting month-end close activities.
• Review and clean up historical QuickBooks records: missing or duplicate transactions, misclassifications and unsupported balances
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts; investigate and document differences
• Reconcile revenue, payments and sales channels, including Shopify and Amazon when applicable
• Review balance sheet accounts: AR, AP, inventory, payroll liabilities, accruals, prepaids and loans
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting budgeting and forecast
