Business Analyst – Financial Services

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the financial services industry to join our team. This person will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and build and maintain product and project roadmaps.

The idóneo candidate combines strong analytical and communication skills with a solid understanding of financial services processes and is comfortable working with stakeholders in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and priorities.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical teams.
- Create, maintain, and communicate roadmaps, ensuring alignment between business priorities and delivery teams.
- Define and prioritize initiatives based on business value, dependencies, risks, and strategic objectives.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering,



and other cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, and optimization.
- Support backlog management, prioritization, and refinement activities.
- Track requirements and ensure delivered solutions meet the expected business outcomes.
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and changes clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Previous experience working within the financial services, banking, fintech, payments, or related industry.
- Hands-on experience developing and managing roadmaps and prioritizing business initiatives.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements for technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating with Product and Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to participate in meetings and communicate effectively with English-speaking stakeholders.
