Responsibilities
- - Conduct field research and collect data on marine species, habitats, and ecosystems - - Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns - - Prepare reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders - - Collaborate with team members to design and implement research projects - - Maintain and calibrate research equipment - - Participate in field expeditions and data collection trips - - Stay up-to-date on current research and industry developments - - Assist with grant writing and funding proposals - - Contribute to the development of new research methodologies and techniques Qualifications:
- - Master's or PhD in Marine Biology, Oceanography, or related field - - Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine research and data collection - - Strong knowledge of marine ecosystems and species identification - - Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation - - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - - Experience with grant writing and funding proposals is a plus - - Willingness to travel and work in remote field locations - - SCUBA diving certification is preferred
