- The Data Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support data integration, quality, and performance optimization.
- This role ensures accurate and timely delivery of data solutions, collaborates with Data Architects, and adheres to governance and security best practices.
- This role will also contribute to AI initiatives by curating and preparing data for machine learning models and AI solutions.
- Our office is in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires and you will interact with Data engineers, BI developers,
and users from all around the world.
- What you will do:
- Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources.
- Enable AI solutions by driving feature engineering and optimizing data pipelines for machine learning and agentic workflows.
- Partner with data scientists and AI teams to design and deliver high-quality, AI-ready datasets that accelerate model development and deployment.
- Implement integration solutions to consolidate data into a centralized data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and pipelines.
- Understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Execute PBIs assigned through the ADO board for timely and accurate delivery.
- Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure integrity.
- Follow governance and management policies to maintain security and compliance.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for scalability and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines to resolve issues promptly.About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication- Main reporting toolsets: PowerBI, Tableau, Python (using visualization library)- 3+ years of experience in data engineering,
data pipeline development, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data integration, and cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred).Preferred Qualifications/ Experience:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Databricks, Azure Data Factory).
- Familiarity with ML/AI concepts, including feature engineering, model data preparation, and data optimization for training/inference.
- Exposure to LLM and Agentic AI platforms (e.g., LangGraph, Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio) is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
