Accounting & Finance Management Lead

JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for an Accounting & Finance Management Lead to oversee our accounting and financial operations and lead our remote team.

This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our leadership structure, helping us maintain accurate financial operations, improve internal systems, and provide financial insights that support strategic growth. What You’ll Do
• Take ownership of daily accounting and financial operations—ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
• Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
• Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
• Prepare monthly financial reports with actionable insights for leadership




• Track budgets and cash flow to help drive smarter business decisions
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper accounting procedures and controls
• Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting and financial workflows, systems, and team processes
• Support leadership with financial analysis and recommendations that contribute to business growth

What You Bring
• 15+ years of accounting or finance experience, with a strong track record in leadership
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
• Strong expertise in accounting operations, reconciliations, payroll, bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial compliance
• Experience managing remote teams and working independently
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
