Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM/CAD Technicians to join our team the UAE!

What You'll Be Doing:

- Work closely with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure the project’s compliance with the given policies and processes, and to ensure timely implementation and completion.

- Utilize a CAD workstation and work with BIM Lead, Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation and completion, for

- Understand BIM modeling process and be able to manage all BIM-related activities from project start up to project completion, across the above disciplines.

- Review each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance with company QA/QC process.

- Demonstrate good knowledge in content creation and be able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families.

- Apply strong knowledge in LOD requirements.

- Use Autodesk Navisworks with experience in clash detection and producing clash reports, including multidisciplinary coordination (Utilities, Roads, Structures, Drainage, MEP, Wet Utilities).

- Produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model.

- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.





- Minimum 4 years experience for the mid level and up to 10 years experience for Senior level

- Prior MEA/UAE experience in CAD drafting experience in:

- Utilities and Wet Utilities

- Roads and related infrastructure

- Structures (e.g., culverts, retaining walls, minor structures)

- MEP coordination within civil works

- Drainage systems

- Must have software experience in MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

- Good knowledge in BIM, understanding LOD requirements and BIM processes.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

- Software experience of Navisworks is advantageous.

- Experience working in a Common Data Environment: ProjectWise, ACC.
