What we're looking for

This is a performance design agency specializing in ad creatives, email designs, and landing pages for DTC and e-commerce brands, serving over 100 brands globally through a subscription-based, fast turnaround model. The company is launching a video ads production service and needs a builder to lead it from the ground up. You will report directly to the CEO and sit alongside the other department heads (Static, Ops, Client Management, HR).

What You'll Be Doing
- Build a video division from zero: no editors, no process, no team exists yet, and you will design and run the machine.
- Start hands-on, briefing and shipping the first videos with freelancers while you hire out the team.
- Write and standardize video briefs that consistently produce high-performing Meta ads.
- Build out the team over time: video editors, strategists, and eventually a project manager and a creator network.
- Own the full production process: intake, briefing, review, QA, delivery, and capacity planning.
- Set the quality bar and creative direction across UGC, talking-head, AI-animated,



and B-roll formats, and coordinate with the Static team so video and static creative reinforce each other.

Requirements
- A track record of writing video briefs that produced high-performing Meta ads, with examples to show.
- Experience managing content creators, editors, and/or strategists (or a clear ability to demonstrate you know how).
- Hands-on experience producing video ads using AI video tools.
- Experience with the US market and US DTC brands.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- A builder's mindset: you want to design the system, not inherit one.
- 4 to 7 years in performance creative, including 1 to 3 years leading people.
- Background as a senior or lead strategist, lead editor, or head of production at a performance creative agency serving DTC brands (multi-client, high-volume, brief-driven), or as an in-house lead strategist or head of creative at a DTC brand who personal
