Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
The Support Service Worker is responsible to provide services to patients,



staff and community partners of Selkirk Mental Health Centre including a clean environment, food service, porter/laundry services, supply replenishment, equipment maintenance, transportation and security.
Experience
- Experience working in housekeeping and food service in a healthcare or directly related environment is an asset.
- Experience in customer service.
- Experience in a housekeeping/cleaning environment.
- Experience in a food handling environment (knowledge of food preparation and safety).
- Experience in pick-up/ delivery.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Minimum Grade 10 education, Manitoba Standards, required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration
- Valid Class 5 Manitoba driver's license is desired.

Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to prioritize daily work/competing deadlines.
