Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Lead Data Engineer/Engineering Director for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a venture-backed SaaS health-tech analytics company. The company combines medicine, business, and technology. Clinicians founded the company and continue to be guided by the insights from a board of leading doctors and pharmacists. They use technology to empower and educate payers and individuals. The solutions offer insights to employers, consultants, and health plans, delivering significant and immediate savings.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data platform engineering, analytics engineering, or related technical roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, data modeling, data pipeline development, and data transformation.
• Experience building, operating, debugging, and supporting production data workflows in cloud-based environments.
• Experience with modern data platforms and orchestration tools,



ideally Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, AWS, or comparable technologies.
• Strong understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation, lineage, monitoring, alerting, and production support.
• Ability to review architecture, data models, code, workflow design, and production-readiness decisions with credibility.
• Ability to move between hands-on execution, technical leadership, cross-functional communication, and practical delivery management.
• Experience working in a lean, fast-moving company where leaders remain close to the work.
• Strong judgment around when to build, when to simplify, when to document, when to escalate, and when to push back on avoidable complexity.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, payer, PBM, benefits, life sciences, financial services, or another regulated data environment.
• Experience with claims, eligibility, member, plan, prici
