Project Manager — Children's Educational App Project (Remote, LatAm)

At HispaniCoders, we're building the team to develop a mobile/tablet language-learning app for young children, currently at MVP stage. We're looking for a Project Manager to lead this project end-to-end, coordinating between our development team and the client.

About the project:

An interactive, open-world style app where kids explore a digital environment at their own pace — every tap, drag, and interaction is designed to build language skills. The founding team consists of two pediatric speech-language pathologists (non-technical), so this role plays a key part in translating their vision into an executable technical plan.

What you'll do:

- Own the project's timeline, scope, and delivery for a 3-month MVP build.
- Be the main point of contact with the client, translating their product/pedagogical requirements into clear specs for the dev team.
- Coordinate daily/weekly work across a Senior Mobile Developer, UX/UI Designer, and QA Engineer.
- Run sprint planning, stand-ups, and client check-ins; keep documentation and progress tracking up to date (Jira, Trello, Notion, or similar).




- Flag risks early — technical, scope, or timeline related — and propose solutions before they become blockers.
- Help ensure deliverables account for children's privacy compliance requirements (COPPA) alongside the technical team.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has proven experience managing mobile app development projects from scratch (not just maintenance/feature work).
- Is comfortable working directly with non-technical founders/clients, translating between technical and non-technical language.
- Has strong organizational skills and experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Has excellent written and spoken English, since all client communication happens in English.
- Can commit full-time for at least 3 months (with possibility of extension based on project progress).

Nice to have:

- Experience with edtech, children's products, or apps requiring regulatory/privacy compliance.

Setup: Remote, full-time dedication.

Initial duration:

3 months (MVP), with possibility of continuity.
