Position Summary:
Swiftly is searching for a Senior Software Engineer with experience developing and extending backend services in Kotlin, ideally with exposure to Quarkus or similar frameworks such as Spring Boot or Micronaut, running on Azure. This role will work within a fully remote startup environment and focus on maintaining and adding new features to existing services, improving the customer experience, and contributing to the continued development of the Swiftly platform.



The Senior Software Engineer will work on the backend services that power the Swiftly platform’s core loyalty features, including coupons, rebates, and user authentication. Day to day, this role will design and write code for new features, as well as build and maintain existing services that handle core business logic and data across loyalty, rebates, coupons, identity, ads, ecommerce, and flyers. The role will work closely with Product Managers to determine requirements and collaborate with frontend developers to define and agree on API endpoints. The Senior Software Engineer will also review logs, debug services, and troubleshoot issues to identify and resolve bugs.

This is a full-time contract role. We use Deel as the employer of record and contract.
