We are seeking a Senior UI Artist to take ownership of the game UI's look and feel, from high-fidelity design through ship-quality engine implementation. You'll collaborate with design and engineering to craft scalable UI systems, materials, and animations across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

- Drive the visual direction of the UI look and feel from concept through ship quality
- Convert UX wireframes into high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, design systems, and style guides
- Build final UI art directly within Unreal Engine using UMG, Slate, and widget animations
- Craft UI materials and shaders through Unreal Material Editor to reinforce a consistent theme
- Design game menus, HUD elements, iconography, and UI motion aligned with gameplay needs
- Author material-driven effects, 2D or animated effects, and lightweight Blueprint logic for UI
- Optimize UI assets for performance and clarity across PC, console, and mobile targets
- Ensure the UI supports accessibility and localization readiness without compromising quality
- Maintain UI asset libraries, style guides, and reusable components
- Partner with designers and engineers to iterate quickly and resolve integration challenges

Requirements





- 3+ years of professional background in a UI Artist role or a closely related art discipline, ideally in games
- Strong leadership skills to guide a UI theme from concept through final implementation
- Proven track record shipping UI across PC, console, and mobile targets
- Advanced expertise in Unreal Engine 5 with UMG, Slate, and the Material Editor
- Strong visual design skills in UI/UX, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Proficiency in industry-standard art tools, including Figma
- Solid understanding of optimization for real-time UI, including texture performance and atlasing
- Excellent collaboration skills for cross-functional work with design and engineering
- High ownership mindset with sharp attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2 level)

Nice to have

- Background in Niagara for UI-driven visual effects
- Understanding of responsive/adaptive UI design across various platforms and resolutions
- Expertise in branding or motion graphics
- Knowledge of the gaming domain
- Familiarity with AI assistants
