Electrical Assembler position is located on-site in Russellville, AR. The facility manufactures chillers and other food processing equipment for the poultry industry.

Purpose

Assembles and tests electrical components according to specifications. Embraces the Lean Enterprise strategy and adheres to all safety policies.

Essential Duties and Percent of Time Spent
- Reads work orders, bills of materials, blueprints, schematics and other written or verbal work instructions to determine best assembly method. Verifies and gathers parts, tools and measuring devices needed for assembly. Assembles, wires, and solders electronic components according to specifications. (50%)
- Performs bench and / or machine wiring of panels from electrical documentation. (20%)
- Tests equipment operation and software.



Utilizes computer applications to monitor time and job assignments that need to be completed. (20%)
- Must have mechanical aptitude to perform mechanical assembly and hydraulic and pneumatic piping functions. (10%)
- Must be able to effectively communicate within a team environment. Ability to take oral and written instructions and complete tasks within the defined labor standards. (10%)
- Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of potential dangers in work area. Cleans and performs preventative maintenance on tools and equipment if required. Practices good housekeeping in work area and properly disposes of waste according to safety and environmental policies. (10%)
