About the Role
We are seeking an experienced bilingual Business Immigration Paralegal to join one of our U.S. clients' teams. This opportunity is open to qualified professionals across the LATAM region.
The adecuado candidate has prior experience supporting U.S. immigration law firms, is comfortable working independently, has hands-on experience with EB-3 and H-2A visa processing and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
Who You Are
- An experienced Immigration Paralegal with hands-on experience supporting U.S.-based immigration law firms.
- Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a high-volume workload.
- Adaptable and quick to learn new systems, processes, and workflows.
- Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal Spanish & English skills.
- Familiar with U.S. legal procedures, documentation, and regulations.
- Proactive, resourceful, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with business immigration matters, particularly EB-3 petitions, including preparation of petitions and supporting documentation.
- Support litigation by preparing and organizing exhibits, affidavits, court filings, and litigation packets.
- Assist with estate planning and probate matters,
including preparing estate inventories, asset lists, and beneficiary notifications under attorney supervision.
- Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
- Manage client intake, maintain client communications, and provide exceptional client service.
- Handle billing, timekeeping, and legal administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up to date.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with EB-3 and H-2A visa processing
- Strong background in Business Immigration procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining confidentiality
- Experience with client intake and legal billing
- Proficient in Clio (required)
- Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
