- Record journal entries and manage the full month-end close inside the company's proprietary field-service ERP.
- Reconcile the business credit card each month, catching and resolving discrepancies.
- Track accounts receivable and run a consistent follow-up cadence- statements, reminders, collection nudges- to keep aging current. (Invoice creation stays with the office administrator.)
- Learn and become fully proficient in a proprietary ERP with no external documentation, using dedicated vendor training plus hands-on support from the office administrator and outside accountant.
- Flag discrepancies, aging risk, or process gaps proactively rather than waiting to be asked.
- Once ramped, propose lightweight process improvements or simple SOPs for the recurring tasks you own.
