About the Opportunity
Solvo General is seeking an experienced
Senior Backend Engineer
to join an innovative HealthTech company building a next-generation AI-powered platform designed to unify hospital systems into a single intelligent ecosystem.
This is a high-impact opportunity for engineers who are passionate about designing scalable architectures, building distributed systems, and solving complex technical challenges in mission-critical environments.
You will play a key role in shaping backend strategy, driving architecture decisions, and developing solutions that support secure and reliable healthcare workflows.
What You'll Do
Design and own backend architecture for a large-scale distributed platform
Build, maintain, and optimize high-performance APIs and microservices
Develop systems for workflow orchestration, data processing, and integrations
Lead technical decisions involving databases, messaging systems, cloud services, and platform infrastructure
Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance across production environments
Integrate third-party platforms through APIs, FHIR standards, and interoperability frameworks
Collaborate with AI and Machine Learning teams to build AI-powered workflows
Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and observability strategies
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams
Investigate and resolve production incidents,



performing root-cause analysis and implementing preventative solutions
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Backend Engineering
Strong expertise in Distributed Systems and Backend Architecture
Hands-on experience designing and implementing Microservices architectures
Proven experience building production-grade REST APIs and integrations
Strong background in System Design, Scalability, and Performance Optimization
Experience working in Healthcare, HealthTech, or regulated environments
Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI compliance requirements
