Interviewer (part-time or full-time, US hours)

Hiry is a recruiting agency. We find and vet candidates for our clients, and we are hiring someone to run the interviews.

What you do

You run video interviews with candidates who have applied to the roles we are filling. In each call you work out what the person has actually done, whether they fit the role, and how they come across. You then write up what you found so the team can decide who moves forward.

You are also the first human a candidate meets, so a lot of this job is making people feel comfortable enough to be honest with you.

Who we are looking for

Someone warm, outgoing and genuinely good with people. You read a room fast, you listen more than you talk, and strangers open up to you within a few minutes. You are organised enough to write clear notes after every call,



because the notes are what the rest of the team works from.

A background in sales or recruiting helps, but it is not required. We can teach the recruiting. We cannot teach the people skills.

You need to work US hours. This is not negotiable, because that is when our candidates and clients are available.

Where this can go

If it works well, the role grows. You take on more of the recruiting work over time: sourcing candidates, running them through the process, and working directly with clients.
