About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator & Design Architect to support residential remodeling projects throughout the preconstruction phase.

A core responsibility of this position is preparing, organizing, and maintaining estimates in JobTread . The role also combines quantity takeoffs, subcontractor and supplier pricing, project documentation, and architectural design support.

The idóneo candidate has already used JobTread professionally and can confidently work with estimates, costs, allowances, assumptions, selections, and related project information within the platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain detailed estimate drafts in JobTread .
- Keep pricing, allowances, assumptions, selections, and project information accurate in JobTread .
- Review construction plans, measurements, scopes, and material selections.
- Complete accurate quantity takeoffs for residential remodeling projects.
- Collect and compare pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with change orders and related project documentation.
- Support material and finish selections during preconstruction.
- Create or assist with floor plans, elevations, presentations, and 3D renderings.
- Keep all project documentation organized and up to date.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager throughout the estimating process.




- Provide the Owner with the information required for final technical decisions and approvals.
- Independently manage multiple projects, estimates, and deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Professional, hands-on experience using JobTread — mandatory.
- Experience creating, updating, and organizing construction estimates in JobTread.
- Mid-level experience in construction estimating, preconstruction, architecture, design, or a related field.
- Experience reviewing construction plans, measurements, and scopes.
- Experience completing quantity takeoffs and preparing detailed estimates.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with residential remodeling or renovation projects.
- Experience with additional takeoff or estimating software.
- Experience creating floor plans, elevations, or 3D renderings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit.
- Spanish communication skills for coordinating with subcontractors.

Schedule and Compensation
- Monday through Friday.
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time.
- Hybrid position based in Buenos Aires.
- USD $2,000–$2,300 per month, depending on experience.
- Additional performance-based incentive opportunities.
- 10 days of paid time off per contract year.
- Standard U.S. holidays.
- Contractor agreement.
