Senior Web Architecture & Technology Delivery Lead (100% Remote / US Agency)

We are looking for a technically grounded, highly collaborative leader to join a modern, independent US agency. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative ambition and scalable web solutions, manage technical resourcing, plan web architecture, and support client-facing technical discussions.

Key Responsabilities:

- Resourcing & Scoping: Manage technical resourcing and capacity planning in cooperation with Operations across internal and contract teams. Partner with creative/project leads to define scope, deliverables, estimates, and identify risks/tradeoffs early.
- Architecture & Standards: Define web solution architecture to address client needs and set implementation patterns and standards. Set and maintain standards for code quality, maintainability, performance, and consistency; lead code reviews and define "definition of done".
- Client & Strategic Advisory: Join key client discussions to explain feasibility, approach, timelines, constraints, and options in clear, non-jargony terms. Collaborate with Client Partnerships to lead solutions discussions and pitch new work.
- Hands-On Delivery: Contribute code when needed (high-complexity items, spikes/prototypes, or urgent delivery moments) to unblock teams. Review technical delivery to ensure solutions align with scope and quality standards.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Lead by example in exploring and integrating AI-assisted development tools while maintaining code quality and security. Ensure strong engineering hygiene, repo hygiene, source control, and documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with PMs, producers, UX/UI design, and QA to deliver maintainable web solutions. Mentor and level-up the team through coaching, code reviews, and sharing best practices.





Success Metrics and Objetives:

- Delivery Health: Projects ship on time with predictable delivery, minimal last-minute scope surprises, and clear technical estimates.
- Quality & Stability: Low defect rates in QA, fewer regressions, consistent code standards, and clear "definition of done" adherence.
- Architecture Effectiveness: Solutions scale appropriately, meet client needs, and reduce rework through sound technical choices.
- Performance Outcomes: Sites/applications meet performance expectations, especially for high-traffic moments.
- Team Efficiency: Balanced resourcing, fast contractor onboarding, and improved team throughput over time.
- Client Confidence: Client stakeholders understand technical approaches, feel supported, and experience smooth delivery communications.
- Pitch Effectiveness: Technical approach and estimates improve win readiness and reduce downstream delivery risk.

Required experience and qualifications:

- Strong ability to scope projects, estimate development effort, and communicate risks/tradeoffs.
- Demonstrated experience designing web solution architecture to meet client needs.
- Proficiency across modern front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JS), comfort supporting full-stack needs, and familiarity with CMS ecosystems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience partnering with client services and account teams within an agency environment.
- Solid source control practices, repo hygiene, and documentation standards.
- Experience with performance optimization for high-traffic websites and responsive engagement patterns.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and technical standards: privacy implementations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility compliance, analytics implementations, and safe practices for personally identifying information.
