Logistics Analyst

You will manage the day-to-day distribution of BYD vehicles from the port to our dealer network across Argentina. You will make sure every unit arrives on time, undamaged and properly documented, at the right cost. You will be the main point of contact for transport providers and the port, and you will drive process improvement and cost reduction as our dealer network grows.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily vehicle transport by car-carrier trucks from the port and warehouse to dealers: plan loads, schedule deliveries and track them until unloading.
- Work daily with transport providers and port/terminal operators to secure capacity, releases and on-time pickups.
- Handle dealer claims for damage, missing items or delivery issues: document each case, coordinate with carriers and insurers, and follow up until it is resolved and costs are recovered.
- Prepare, run and analyze the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process: define checklists, track defect rates and drive corrective actions with providers.




- Record delivery notes (remitos) and shipment data in the system, keeping records accurate and traceable.
- Receive, check and process transport provider invoices against agreed rates and services delivered, and submit them for payment.
- Track operational KPIs such as on-time delivery, lead time from port to dealer, damage rate, claims resolution time and cost per unit delivered, and report them to management.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost reduction opportunities in routes, load utilization, provider rates and claims recovery.

Requirements

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Foreign Trade, Logistics, or related fields
- Supply Chain certification preferred.

Language

- Fluent English (written and spoken)

Experience

- 2–4 years of experience in transport or distribution logistics.
- Experience in automotive logistics (vehicle distribution, car carriers, ports, PDI) is a strong plus.
- Experience managing transport providers and checking freight invoices.

Skills

- Strong customer and service orientation, including handling difficult conversations with dealers and providers.
- Organization and attention to detail when many deliveries run at the same time.
- Analytical mindset focused on costs and KPIs.
