Job Summary

Tencys is looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Principal Consultant to support Oracle E Business Suite implementation and Application Managed Services (AMS) engagements. The consultant will work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze business processes, design and configure Oracle EBS solutions, support testing and deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate closely with functional and technical teams.

Candidates should have strong hands-on expertise in at least one of the following Oracle EBS functional areas:

- Source to Pay (S2P): iProcurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, Payables
- Human Resources / HRMS: Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, Self-Service
- Projects / Project-to-Report: Projects Foundation, Project Planning & Control, Project

Key Responsibilities

- Functional Consulting & Solution Design: Understand business requirements, analyze processes and gaps, recommend Oracle EBS solutions, and configure modules based on approved designs.
- Implementation & AMS Support: Support the complete lifecycle from requirements and configuration through testing, deployment, production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Technical-Functional Collaboration: Work with technical teams on reports, interfaces, integrations, customizations, data fixes, migrations, and enhancements; review functional and technical specifications.
- Testing, Documentation & Client Engagement: Prepare functional and configuration documentation, participate in testing and UAT, support data validation and reconciliation, conduct user training, and work directly with clients and business stakeholders.

Basic Requirements

- 8+ years of relevant Oracle EBS Functional experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in at least one identified Oracle EBS functional domain.
- Experience with Oracle EBS implementation and/or AMS projects.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS configuration, setup, and maintenance.




- Strong understanding of business processes relevant to the candidate's functional specialization.
- Ability to analyze functional issues and identify whether the root cause is related to configuration, data, process, customization, or integration.
- Experience with SQL / PL-SQL or similar querying and reporting tools.
- Experience working with technical teams on reports, interfaces, integrations, customizations, and data corrections.
- Experience with data migration, validation, reconciliation, and data-quality activities
- Experience with incident, change, and problem management in AMS environments.
- Strong experience in testing, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work directly with clients and business users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Oracle EBS certification.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud in the corresponding functional area.
- Experience across multiple Oracle EBS modules.
- Strong exposure to Oracle EBS R12.2.x and recent product capabilities.
- Experience with third-party applications and integrations.
- Experience in solution architecture or functional leadership.
- Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture from a functional perspective.
- Experience providing multiple solution options and explaining functional/business impacts to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a related field.
