Are you an accounting professional with strong technical accounting skills? We're looking for a Property Accountant to join our team and support the financial management of a portfolio of properties. While property accounting experience is a plus, we're primarily seeking candidates with solid accounting fundamentals and experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
What You'll Do
- Manage month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Analyze financial statements and variances.
- Support AP/AR reviews and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with Property Managers and operational teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure accurate reporting.
What We're Looking For ✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
✔ 3-4 years of accounting experience.
✔ Strong experience with:
- Month-end close
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- General ledger management
- Journal entries
- Financial reporting
- Bank reconciliations
Preferred but Not Required ⭐ Property Accounting experience
⭐ Real Estate industry exposure
⭐ Knowledge of US GAAP
⭐ Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, or similar accounting software
