and translating technical knowledge into practical improvements that support both operational effectiveness and risk management.ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in underground mining operationsMinimum 5 years directly involved in underground mine development activitiesHands‐on experience with mechanized underground developmentPractical experience with drilling equipment, charging systems, explosives, LHDs, and underground haulage equipmentExperience managing or supervising underground development contractorsExperience reviewing, developing, implementing, or improving operational procedures and SOPsExperience supporting underground mine construction, expansion, Operational Readiness, or ramp‐up activitiesExperience implementing risk‐based operational procedures and Critical Control Management principlesExperience in Latin American underground mining operations is advantageousCapabilitiesDeep understanding of underground mine development cycles and sequencingStrong expertise in development drilling, charging, blasting, and explosives managementKnowledge of blast clearance requirements, exclusion zones, and post‐blast re‐entry criteriaUnderstanding of mucking, haulage, ground support interfaces, and underground services installationAbility to identify gaps between documented procedures and presente operational practicesAbility to identify hazards, credible scenarios, and Critical ControlsAbility to translate operational experience into practical and executable proceduresStrong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and workshop leadership capabilityAbility to establish operational hold points, authorization requirements, and stop‐work criteriaStrong technical writing skills in EnglishEducation & LanguagesBachelor's degree in Mining EngineeringProfessional engineering registration or equivalent preferredAdditional qualifications in underground mining or blasting are advantageousAdvanced English requiredA Bit More About UsWe are implementers and change-makers.
