The RoleAvatria, a leading Digital Commerce and Content solutions provider, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join the Services team.Full-time.100% On-site.About the RoleAs a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of Commerce and Content systems for our customers.
This involves designing and executing manual test cases, as well as developing and maintaining automated test suites.
You are an idóneo candidate if you are passionate about quality assurance, test automation, problem-solving and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.We want someone that can:Perform thorough manual testing (functional, regression and smoke) and accurately document test results and test coverage metricsDesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworksAccurately identify, log, prioritize, and track defects to provide clear and concise reports to the development teamWork closely and proactively with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and embed quality practices throughout the SDLCMust have:Professional experience in software quality assurance for enterprise-level applicationsProficient with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman or RESTExperience with responsive and native mobile application testing (iOS and Android)Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM) for planning and trackingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsNice to have:Strong understanding of the entire SDLC and methodologies (Agile/Scrum)Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)



for test executionKnowledge of database querying (SQL) for data validation in back-end testingExperience in the Digital Commerce or Content Management domainExperience with Commerce platforms such as SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, commercetools and BigCommerceExperience with Content Management platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful and Builder.ioResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
Create and execute automated tests for web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and automation coverage.
Perform code reviews and promote best practices for test automation, maintainability, and quality.
Analyze automated test results, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with technical teams to drive defects through resolution.
Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, stability, and reliability.
