At bioMérieux, we are looking for a General Ledger & Reporting Operations Coordinator to join our LATAM Shared Service Center (SSC). In this role, you will support General Ledger and Reporting operations across multiple countries in the region while coordinating day-to-day team activities, driving process improvements, and helping ensure service excellence and compliance with reporting deadlines. This position combines operational and coordination responsibilities while maintaining active involvement in day-to-day accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and closing activities. Like the rest of the team, it reports directly to the GL&R; Team Manager. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring compliance with established deadlines and quality standards.
- Follow up on open items, risks, and issues impacting the closing process and upscale them when required.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting, reconciliation, and reporting activities across the team.
- Monitor compliance with internal and corporate reporting deadlines and support the resolution of operational accounting issues.
- Coordinate daily operational activities, including workload planning, workload balancing, and resource allocation.
- Monitor team workload, identify operational risks or resource constraints, and help drive continuous improvements.
- Support onboarding, training, and day-to-day operational guidance for team members.
