The Role and Team
At Medallia, we are strongly investing in unstructured data processing, combining NLP, Machine Learning, and the latest Generative AI technologies to help companies better understand and improve their customers’ and employees’ experiences. As the volume and complexity of unstructured data continue to grow,



we are evolving our Text Analytics platform to uncover richer and more actionable insights at scale. And that’s why our Text Analytics team is growing.
Our team builds and operates the pipelines and services that process large volumes of unstructured data from a wide variety of sources, including reviews, user comments, chat transcripts, call center interactions, and more. We design these systems to be scalable, resilient, and capable of serving the needs of many different customers.
We work with technologies such as Kafka, Kubernetes, and S3, and integrate with Elasticsearch, Machine Learning models, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI pipelines to build distributed processing systems at scale. We work closely with our Data Science teams to bring NLP, Machine Learning, and GenAI capabilities into production and solve the engineering challenges involved in applying them to large and diverse datasets.
