About the role:
- Act as the Engineering lead within a squad, guiding the team on architectural decisions, best practices, and technical execution
- Collaborate closely with frontend technical leads, ensuring smooth integration between backend and frontend services
- Lead the technical strategy for backend development, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Own the architecture and design of backend services, establishing best practices and guiding the team on complex technical decisions
- Develop and maintain robust, high-performance backend services using Node.js and NestJS (Express)




- Drive technical innovation by researching and implementing new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance development processes
- Ensure system reliability and performance through well-structured testing, monitoring, and logging strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to align technical solutions with business goals
- Mentor and coach backend developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
- Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices for backend development
- Oversee deployments and production operations, ensuring high availability and fast issue resolution
- Participate in hiring processes, helping to attract and assess top engineering talent

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or technical lead role
- Strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS (Express) for building scalable back
