We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester in Python to drive quality assurance efforts across the AAA game development lifecycle, combining hands-on automation expertise with technical leadership to ensure games meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement test strategies and plans across the AAA game development lifecycle
- Define technical objectives and priorities to ensure all features meet AAA quality standards
- Maintain automated frameworks and performance tools to achieve broad test coverage across platforms
- Identify bottlenecks to optimize game health
- Direct daily testing using regression and manual playthroughs to uncover and troubleshoot complex bugs
- Oversee the defect lifecycle and collaborate with developers on high-priority resolutions
- Liaise with production and engineering teams to align on technical requirements
- Bridge between the game studio and the Tech and QA teams to balance general standards with local requirements
- Translate complex findings into actionable insights for stakeholders to maintain project momentum




- Coach a small technical team on industry tools and QA best practices
- Drive technical growth and implementation quality through example and mentorship

Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in software testing
- 1+ years in a testing role with a focus on automated testing and/or scripting
- Proficiency in Python
- Familiarity with C++
- Expertise in test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have
- Background in testing AAA games through multiple phases of the game development lifecycle
- Deep and broad experience with First Person Shooter and/or Action RPG titles
- Familiarity with commercial game engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as TeamC
