About You

● A seasoned technical architect or designer with experience in boutique restaurant design. On-site construction or fabrication experience is a plus.

● You are a Revit-fluent tinkerer

- with the ability to model and render with precision, iterate on design options independently as needed, and figure out solutions on-the-go.

● You are both collaborative and precise - you possess the ability to work and collaborate with the team and iterate on design options independently. ● You have a strong understanding of time management and task priorities as they relate to design and project work.

● You have a strong understanding of execution and detailing as it relates to design story, budget, and realities of construction - and you are excited about bringing restaurant spaces to life.

Key Responsibilities

● Produce high-quality,



accurate and thoughtful 3-D models in REVIT as well as architectural renderings to facilitate the design process of growing hospitality design studio.

● Collaborate closely with designers, architects of record, and project managers to develop visual concepts with an eye toward buildability and how these designs will translate into Construction Documents and the final built environment.

● Create detailed 3D models and renderings using Revit / Enscape,

ensuring accuracy and design intent.

● Apply textures, lighting, and realistic materials to generate photorealistic images.

● Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

● Communicate effectively with team members across different time zones.

● Lead & execute construction documentation packages including:

○ Experience building comprehensive construction documentation set and an awareness of the critical information to be included and communicated via the drawings at project phase milestones.

○ Experience working with consultants including lighting designers, landscape architects, MEP engineers and kitchen consultants.

○ Experience detailing boutique projects that include custom details across FF&E; including furniture, lighting, or other categories.

Quality Control & Best Practices





● Become familiar with Roy design process and opportunities to impart new practices and/or internal checkpoints in order to ensure construction & install success.

● Contribute to project budgeting, resourcing, and scheduling.

● Draw and review construction documents (CDs) during documentation phase of design, with an eye for constructability and ease of communication with all parties.

● Help ensure quality control throughout all phases of a project’s life cycle, and be a constant voice for the design.

● Maintain a working knowledge of changing codes and regulations that may affect construction and/or or installation, with special attention to restaurants & boutique hospitality spaces.

● Participate in client-facing meetings, representing the firm with confidence and care.

Studio Practice & Leadership

● Team player, ready to contribute to and help grow junior talent in the office - prior experience managing a design-team will be factored into compensation.

● Help create and maintain templates, standards, tools, and training for interior design excellence, continuously improve internal systems and workflows.

● Participate in company-wide short-term strategic goals and priorities as they relate to specific projects.
