We're looking for a Senior Python Backend Engineer to design and build scalable, resilient backend services and distributed systems, with ownership of technical initiatives from design through delivery.

? What You'll Do

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python
- Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Django and Flask
- Work with PostgreSQL and Redis as part of the core backend stack
- Design reliable, resilient components for distributed systems
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Integrate and maintain solutions on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB)
- Write clean, maintainable code backed by unit and integration tests
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance, scalability, and reliability
- Take ownership of technical initiatives from design through delivery
- Break down complex initiatives, including refactoring projects, into clear, manageable deliverables
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams




- Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools effectively and responsibly in daily work

? What You Bring

- Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1)
- 6+ years of professional Python backend development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
- Experience building REST APIs with Django and Flask
- Experience with distributed systems and resilient software components
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience writing unit tests and building self-testing, maintainable code
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB
- GCP experience is a plus
- Strong communication, autonomy, ownership, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to independently manage tasks and break complex engineering initiatives into manageable deliverables
- Practical experience using modern AI and agentic coding tools in software development
