Type: Full-time

About the role
We are looking for an AI-native Senior Salesforce Engineer: someone who already builds with agentic tools every day and has the judgment to know when their output is good and when it isn't.
You will join a small-to-medium, highly efficient team that owns a client engagement from requirements through production, with AI tooling running through every stage. You will own features, from clarifying requirements with the client to shipping the release, on whatever cadence the engagement runs.
This is not a role where AI is a side experiment. Agentic coding is how we work, and we expect you to arrive with your own workflow, your own opinions about it, and the ability to raise the bar for the rest of the team. Concretely: AI tooling runs through the full cycle, from requirements and design to code, tests, and review. We measure engineers on what ships and holds up in production, not on lines written by hand. And we expect you to get onboarded quickly, utilize the latest tools, skils and plugins that we have developed, and contribute to our know-how with your own experience. Review https://github.com/aquivalabs/speccy for what it feels like working in an Aquiva AI POD.
What you'll do
- AI-augmented development. Use agentic coding tools as your standard method. Review, correct, and take full ownership of what they produce. The code ships under your name.
- Salesforce application development. Design and build on the Salesforce platform as a senior developer.
- Client engagement.
Be the technical voice in the room, working directly with customers to understand their challenges and deliver solutions that fit.
- Stakeholder collaboration. Clarify user stories and requirements with the business side, and align on outcomes before writing code.
- Code quality. Own the test suite. AI will assist you; you decide whether it covers the cases that matter and write the ones it missed.
Must-have
- Daily AI tooling practice. Cursor, Claude Code, custom agents, or an equivalent stack, already in your workflow. Be ready to walk us through a real example: what you delegated, what you rejected, and how you validated the result.
- 5+ years on the Salesforce platform, with complex applications in production, real users, and a working knowledge of design patterns.
- Judgment over agentic output. You spot when a generated solution is wrong, unsafe, or over-engineered, and you fix it fast.
- Strong testing practices that keep code reliable through frequent releases.
- English, B2 or above. You will work in English daily and need to follow a fast discussion without rehearsing.
- Effective communication. You can explain a technical trade-off to a stakeholder who does not write code.
Nice to have
- Experience with Data 360 or Agentforce
- Experience developing applications for AgentExchange (formerly AppExchange)
- Experience developing applications in React
- Salesforce or Claude certifications
Benefits
- Co-working spaces and offices for collaboration
- Team activities
- Adaptable PTO policy
- Healthcare
- Paid sick leaves, parental leaves, and volunteer days
