KalamCX is looking for Italian–English Interpreters to join our remote team as OPI/VRI Medical Interpreters.

In this role, you will provide accurate and professional interpretation between Italian-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals, helping ensure clear and effective communication during medical conversations.

Responsibilities:

- Provide accurate interpretation between Italian and English during medical calls.
- Interpret simultaneously while maintaining the meaning, tone, and context of the conversation.
- Follow strict confidentiality and professional standards.
- Use appropriate healthcare terminology and maintain clear communication.
- Assist patients and healthcare providers in communicating effectively.
- Follow the Interpreter Code of Conduct and company guidelines.

- Requirements:

- Native or near-native proficiency in Italian.




- C1-level English proficiency.
- Strong communication, listening, and comprehension skills.
- Previous interpretation or customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to work remotely and follow the required operational schedule.
- Stable wired internet connection.
- Windows 10+ computer with at least 8 GB RAM.
- Wired USB headset and external webcam.
