Lighting Technician - Cruise

Responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of lighting, video, laser, and special-effects equipment across the ship, supporting live shows and entertainment events.

Key Duties

- Operate lighting, video, laser, and SFX systems during shows.
- Set up, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair entertainment equipment.
- Operate lighting consoles including GrandMA2/3 and ETC.
- Inspect lighting rigs, cabling, fixtures, and safety equipment.
- Support rehearsals, technical runs, load-ins/load-outs, and events.
- Train and coordinate spotlight operators.
- Maintain equipment inventories, records, and fault reports.
- Provide general audio/video technical support when required.
- Follow all safety, maritime, and company procedures.

Requirements
- Theater/live entertainment technical experience.
- Knowledge of lighting systems, electrical principles, networking, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong English communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work at heights and lift up to 50 lb (23 kg).
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing show requirements.
- Professional, reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
