Stoic Software is a software company that builds custom web applications for businesses in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, across logistics, transportation, fintech and sports industries.

We're a young startup that builds with AI agents, and we're looking for someone to own client relationships and lead the development of each product.

What you'll do

Your job is to make sure every project succeeds. To do that, you'll own three areas: product, clients and the development team.

Product The goal is for every product to solve the client's real problem.

- Understand how each client works, what they need and what's in scope.
- Design how the product will work, including edge cases.

Clients The goal is for clients to renew or upgrade their plans and come back to us for new projects.

- Manage several clients as their single point of contact: progress meetings, demos and written communication.
- Handle each client's day-to-day: bugs, requests, out-of-scope changes, access, infrastructure and support hours.
- Build long-term relationships and spot new opportunities with each client.

Development The goal is for projects to be delivered well and on time.

- Plan ahead so everyone on the team always has clear tasks.
- Set priorities across clients to meet every project's deadlines.
- Track progress, anticipate delays and remove blockers.
- Make sure every delivery matches what was agreed and is properly tested.





You'll also send daily proposals on Upwork to land new projects.

What we're looking for

- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role. If you don't have it but match the rest of the profile, apply anyway.
- Native or near-native spoken English, to talk daily with our clients.
- Judgment to understand each client's underlying problem, challenge their request when it isn't the best solution, and say no when needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage several projects in parallel.
- Autonomy, consistency, discipline and strong attention to detail: solving problems without waiting for instructions, delivering on your promises and never letting anything go out unchecked.
- A desire to grow with us long term and get to know each client in depth.

Nice to have

- Experience building prototypes or apps with AI tools.
- Experience in product design, UX or QA.
- Understanding of the technical side: databases, APIs, integrations and payments.
