We are looking for a skilled

Unreal Engine UI Engineer to build and optimize game UI systems in C++ with a strong focus on architecture, performance, and cross-platform delivery. You will collaborate on scalable UI patterns and polished UX across platforms. Apply now to help shape intuitive interfaces!

Responsibilities

- Design UI systems in Unreal Engine using C++ with clear separation of presentation and data layers

- Build reusable UI widgets in UMG and integrate them into MVVM or MVC-based flows

- Implement HUD and worldspace UI elements and choose the right approach for each use case

- Define and apply good UI engineering practices and avoid common anti-patterns

- Optimize UI performance across platforms with attention to memory, draw calls, and responsiveness

- Profile and debug UI behavior using Unreal Insights and other engine tools

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate UX intent into responsive, intuitive interfaces

- Evaluate Blueprint vs C++ implementations and document rationale for maintainability

- Integrate UI data pipelines to support efficient delivery of structured data to the front end

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience developing with Unreal Engine

- Hands-on experience programming in C++ for game development

- UI engineering experience with UMG or a comparable UI framework





- Strong understanding of Game Development SDLC and production workflows

- Solid knowledge of Blueprint vs C++ tradeoffs in Unreal Engine

- UI architecture skills with MVVM, MVC, and Common UI concepts

- Cross-platform development experience across PC and mobile with UI performance awareness

- Performance optimization skills for UI rendering and responsiveness

- Tooling experience with Unreal Insights for profiling and debugging

- Strong communication skills to align engineering work with UI/UX intent

- Minimum English language level of B1+

Nice to have

- Experience building AI Assistants features that enhance in-game UI workflows

- Gaming domain knowledge and strong product sensibility for UX and visual polish
