Jetpacks! is looking for someone to join our LatAm team as QA Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for manually testing Maxwell's applications across browsers, devices, and client environments, tracking down and documenting defects, and helping the team ship reliable releases — all while growing your skills in test automation along the way.

Role Responsibilities

- Execute manual functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing of applications across all supported browsers, devices, and client environments.
- Write, maintain, and organize test cases and test plans based on functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects in Maxwell's issue tracking system (e.g., JIRA), including clear steps to reproduce, expected versus actual results, and supporting evidence.
- Verify defect fixes and support release readiness and production verification testing.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and refinement sessions to help clarify requirements and ensure testability.
- Progressively contribute to test automation (e.g., Playwright), under the guidance of the Senior Engineer.
- Flag usability, data, and security concerns you notice while testing.

How will you be supported?

You'll be onboarded to the tech team organization. You will be part of a team and will communicate with them via Slack and Google Meet. Periodic 1−on-1 meetings will be held to ensure you are successful and are having a productive and enjoyable experience.





Role Requirements

- Solid experience with manual QA: functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Strong skills in writing and maintaining test cases and test plans from requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience with issue tracking systems like JIRA, including clear defect documentation (steps to reproduce, expected vs. presente results, supporting evidence).
- Comfortable testing across multiple browsers, devices, and client environments.
- Familiarity with, or strong interest in, test automation tools like Playwright.
- Great communication skills and comfort participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and refinement sessions.
- Advanced English level.
