About The Role This role is responsible for leading key financial close activities, ensuring accurate and compliant accounting processes under US GAAP and Argentina GAAP. The position partners cross-functionally to manage complex accounting matters, support audits and SEC/SOX compliance, and drive process improvements through automation. Success in this role requires strong technical accounting expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to independently own critical accounting processes.

What You’ll Do

- Contribute to the company's financial integrity by participating in month-end, quarter-end,



and annual close processes to support accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare standard and recurring journal entries, perform routine account analyses, and complete monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts under US GAAP and Argentina GAAP.
- Collaborate with team members accounting staff with day-to-day routines, account reconciliations, and basic operational queries.
- Execute assigned accounting workflows and routine operations, escalating non-standard issues or complex variances when necessary.
- Research, analyze, and apply appropriate accounting treatments to corporate accounting matters, vendor contracts, new transactions, and other relevant areas.
- Support quarterly and annual SEC filings and actively maintain compliance with SOX requirements.
- Assist in external and internal audits by preparing complex schedules, providing necessary documentation, and responding to auditor and SOX compliance requests effectively.
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business decision-making through accurate data preparation and insightful analysis, fostering teamwork and transparency.

What You’ll Need





- Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (graduated or expected to graduate within the next year).
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience in similar roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage daily accounting functions and complete close schedules reliably.
- Big 4 accounting experience preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and excellent written communication skills.
- Good understanding of US GAAP and Argentine accounting standards, with foundational knowledge of financial close routines.
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and consistent follow-through, including strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally with teams in finance, operations, legal, and HR.

Nice To Have

- Experience in financial services and/or technology industries.
- Ability to automate and simplify large datasets.
- Experience with ETL tools and other data transformation tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake, etc.).
- Experience with Accounting ERPs (Specifically Workday Financial).
- Ability to think critically and work independently, while also collaborating effectively within a broader team environment.
