Senior Specialist in Storytelling and Content Marketing

About us

MEDLIFE is a non-profit organization that partners with low-income communities in Latin America and Africa to improve their access to medicine, education, and community development projects. Our mission is to build a worldwide Movement empowering the poor in their fight for equal access to healthcare, education, and a safe home. Our vision is a world free from the constraints of poverty. MEDLIFE works with students from around the world in order to broaden their perspectives and better equip them to advocate for social justice.

Our adecuado Senior Specialist in Storytelling and Content Marketing

We're looking for a highly organized, relationship-driven storyteller who can run a recognition and advocacy program at scale — someone equally comfortable conducting a deeply personal interview and managing hundreds of CRM records. The right candidate is a natural listener who turns a raw, authentic story into proof that changes minds, while keeping consent, tagging, and workflow discipline rigorous behind the scenes. As we continue growing, we'd love for you to be part of the MEDLIFE Movement.

About the role

MEDLIFE's growth, fundraising, and chapter-leadership pipelines depend on credible, discoverable proof of the impact our students, alumni, and community partners create together. In this role you will own MEDLIFE's leadership-recognition programs (Foundations of Service, Built to Serve, PIN Awards) end to end and build the storytelling engine behind them — systematically finding, recognizing, and interviewing the people who embody that impact, and turning their stories into proof that reaches the right audience, in the right format, at the right moment.

What will your day-to-day look like at MEDLIFE?

- Own the end-to-end operation of MEDLIFE's leadership-recognition programs (Foundations of Service, Built to Serve, PIN Awards): nomination strategy, outreach, CRM tracking,

selection, and winner communications.
- Build and run the Bridge storytelling system — identifying the right messenger for each belief gap and eliciting authentic before/after stories through strong interviewing.
- Build and maintain a searchable, fully tagged proof library (video, written, quotes, case studies) with permission and consent tracking.
- Partner with Marketing, Social, Sales, SEO, Web, and Chapter Recruitment to turn each strong story into multiple distributed assets.
- Monitor social channels and online communities to identify narrative gaps, objections, and visibility opportunities, and maintain a channel-by-channel plan to close them.
- Help award recipients and nominees — students, travelers, and community leaders — articulate their growth and next leadership steps.
- Operate all of the above through CRM workflows (HubSpot/Salesforce) built for hundreds to thousands of relationships.
- Create appropriate next-step advocacy opportunities (panels, referrals, mentorship, chapter leadership) as an outcome of genuine recognition, not a quota.

What will you bring?

- 3-5 years personally owning a customer advocacy, customer reference, testimonial, case-study, or storytelling/recognition program end to end.
- Experience managing a large population of advocates, customers, or nominees through CRM-based workflows (segmentation, tracking, follow-up, reporting).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven interviewing ability: eliciting specific,

emotionally authentic stories from people who are not professional spokespeople.
- Experience building and maintaining a searchable proof, reference, or story library with structured tagging.
- Experience repurposing a single story into multiple assets across social, web, sales, and email channels.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot or Salesforce) and Google Workspace.
- Comfort with basic content and video tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut) and with AI tools for transcription, tagging, and workflow acceleration (e.g., Otter.ai, ChatGPT/Claude).
- Advanced / professional working proficiency in English, with strong written and spoken communication and a proven ability to build trust quickly with U.S. audiences.
- Attention to detail and follow-up discipline: consent, tagging, and permissions stay accurate across a large, growing proof library.

Nice to have

- Experience running recognition, awards, nomination, or ambassador programs.
- Familiarity with social listening and building earned online presence (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, review platforms).
- Experience with international, nonprofit, or education-sector organizations.
- Basic video editing or story-to-asset production experience.

What do we offer you?

- Full-time, remote work, Monday to Friday.
- Competitive salary commensurate with the role.
- Competitive benefits package, including a birthday day off.
- End-to-end ownership of MEDLIFE's recognition programs, proof library, and storytelling system.
- Growth opportunities and mission-driven work that turns real student, alumni, and community stories into proof that brings more people into the MEDLIFE Movement.

Please note: We are grateful to all interested candidates, but only those chosen for an interview will be contacted. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,000,000.00 per month

Work Location: Remote
