Our great team is what enables us to do great things. Now we are in the middle of a transformation and strengthen for our global financial team and looking for - Tax Manager.

In this role, she/he will serves as the regional tax leader responsible for ensuring robust tax governance, effective tax risk management, and consistent tax compliance across the Latin America region. The role provides regional oversight and direct involvement across direct tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and other tax matters, and is accountable for ensuring alignment between local tax requirements and the Group's broader tax strategy, policies, and governance standards.

Reporting to the Group Tax Director, the role acts as a key regional escalation and decision point for significant tax, regulatory, and governance matters. The role works closely with local finance and tax teams, shared services structures, external advisors, and tax authorities to support compliance, manage risk, resolve complex tax matters, and drive consistent implementation of Group Tax policies and standards across multiple jurisdictions. The role combines regional leadership with active involvement in significant tax positions, audits, and cross-border matters where judgement and business impact require senior oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Tax Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

- Own regional oversight of tax compliance, governance, and risk management activities across Latin America, ensuring effective management of direct tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and other obligations across the region.
- Ensure tax compliance frameworks, reporting requirements, monitoring processes, and controls operate effectively and consistently throughout the region.
- Provide regional oversight and direct involvement in significant tax filings, declarations, tax calculations, tax positions, audits, and other matters where technical judgement, risk exposure, or business impact warrant senior review.
- Act as the regional owner of the tax risk landscape, ensuring material risks, regulatory developments, legislative changes,



and compliance issues are appropriately identified, assessed, escalated, and mitigated.

Group Tax Strategy, Transfer Pricing & Cross-Border Coordination

- Lead the implementation of Group Tax policies, governance requirements, strategic initiatives, and operating standards across Latin America.
- Ensure consistent implementation of transfer pricing policies, international tax requirements, withholding tax obligations, and cross-border tax frameworks in alignment with Group expectations and local regulatory requirements.
- Oversee matters relating to transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, withholding taxes, cross-border structures, international tax positions, and related reporting requirements, providing regional guidance where required.
- Act as the primary regional representative of the Group Tax function, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and coordination between Group Tax leadership and regional stakeholders.

Tax Advisory, Technical Leadership & Professional Judgement

- Provide regional leadership, review, and challenge over significant tax positions, technical interpretations, direct tax and indirect tax matters, transfer pricing matters, and other judgement-intensive issues.
- Act as an escalation and decision point for complex tax, regulatory, and cross-border matters requiring senior professional judgement.
- Provide direct support and technical guidance in relation to complex audits, tax authority enquiries, transfer pricing disputes, complex tax calculations, uncertain tax positions, and strategically significant tax matters.
- Review and support key tax assumptions, technical analyses, and documentation underpinning significant tax positions where expertise or judgement is required.
- Ensure material tax positions and interpretations are appropriately documented, communicated, and applied consistently throughout the region.

Leadership of the Regional Tax Operating Model

- Lead and coordinate the tax community across Latin America, including local finance and tax teams, shared services structures, and external advisors.
- Ensure clear execution of defined roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation mechanisms.
- Drive collaboration and resolution of matters impacting multiple jurisdictions, legal entities, or business functions.
- Support the continued development of a scalable and sustainable regional tax operating model.

Business Partnership, Transformation & Continuous Improvement

- Partner with business, finance, treasury, legal, and operational stakeholders on tax matters affecting commercial decisions, business growth,



and strategic initiatives.
- Provide guidance on the tax implications of significant transactions, restructurings, business initiatives, organisational changes, and cross-border activities.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen, standardise, and improve tax processes, reporting capabilities, compliance frameworks, and governance practices across the region.
- Support implementation of tax-related transformation programmes, technology solutions, automation initiatives, and operating model enhancements.
- Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the regional tax function.

What We’re Looking For

- Master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional tax qualification, accounting qualification, legal qualification, or equivalent advanced tax credentials.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in taxation, including corporate tax, indirect tax, international tax, transfer pricing, and tax governance within multinational organisations or leading professional services firms.
- Proven experience overseeing tax matters across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
- Strong track record in managing complex tax risks, regulatory matters, tax audits, and cross-border tax issues.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and operationalising tax policies, governance frameworks, and strategic initiatives across large organisations.
- Experience engaging with senior leadership teams and influencing outcomes across complex, matrix environments.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and coordinate activities across multiple countries, functions, and stakeholder groups.
- Strong understanding of regional and global tax governance frameworks, transfer pricing principles, and international taxation considerations.
- Familiarity with ERP-based environments (SAP preferred) and large-scale multinational operating models.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex tax matters into practical business outcomes.
- Excellent command of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Solid working proficiency in Portuguese is strongly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the region and engage regularly with local stakeholders.
