Main Purpose
The Tax Specialist ensures tax compliance and risk management in Argentina, with a focus on withholding and municipal taxes. As a tax focal point and business partner, the role provides technical guidance, supports tax controversy matters and drives accurate filings, process improvement, cost efficiency and cash optimization, working closely with the ConoSur Tax & TP Compliance Lead, GBS, external advisors and business stakeholders.
Your mission will be to




- Ensure compliance with withholding tax regimes and municipal tax obligations through the review and technical validation of tax returns, promoting cost efficiency, cash optimization and value creation for the business.
- Identify, assess and resolve complex tax matters related to withholding taxes and municipal taxes, ensuring alignment with Argentine tax regulations and internal guidelines.
- Act as the tax compliance focal point for assigned tax regimes, providing technical advice to business stakeholders, GBS, external advisors and internal tax teams.
- Coordinate tax compliance activities and maintain direct interaction with tax authorities and external advisors when required.
- Own and review relevant tax compliance processes and tax filings, ensuring technical accuracy, timely execution and proper documentation.
