About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Interpreting Operations Coordinator to join our Interpreting Department and provide operational support to the senior operations team. The idóneo candidate has previous experience in the language services industry, particularly in interpreting coordination, interpreter scheduling, project management, or interpreting operations. This is a hands‑on role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to independently manage multiple assignments and changing priorities.

You will be responsible for coordinating interpreting assignments, sourcing and communicating with interpreters, maintaining accurate scheduling and documentation, reviewing invoices, and proactively addressing coverage and operational issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate interpreting assignments across multiple clients and projects.
- Identify and assign qualified interpreters based on language, location,



availability, credentials, experience, modality, and client‑specific requirements.
- Recruit and source new interpreters, particularly for hard‑to‑fill languages, geographic areas, and specialized assignments.
- Maintain regular communication with interpreters regarding availability, assignment details, confirmations, changes, documentation, and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate interpreter profiles, assignments, notes, documentation, and scheduling information within the scheduling platform.
- Monitor upcoming assignments and proactively identify potential coverage issues.
- Support senior team members with high‑volume, complex, urgent, and specialized interpreting requests.
- Assist with interpreter onboarding and ensure all required documentation is collected and maintained.
