Role: Freelance IT Support Engineer

Contract: B2B/Freelance Contract

Location: Garín, Buenos Aires

Schedule: Support required during standard working hours

Essential duties for the position include, but are not limited to the following:

- Provide onsite L1 network support and meet SLA requirements.
- Monitor network performance, alarms, availability, and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, connectivity, and circuit issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers and switches.
- Configure network interfaces and support routing protocols.
- Support LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and general network infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain network security, access controls, and firewalls.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to resolve network faults.
- Log, track, and update network incidents in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex faults and outages when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS





- L1 network monitoring, troubleshooting, and onsite support
- Install and configure routers and switches
- LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and general networking knowledge
- Network performance and connectivity troubleshooting
- Network security, access controls, and firewall knowledge
- Troubleshoot circuit faults and coordinate with carriers/vendors
- Monitor network alarms and resolve network outages
- Handle and update tickets in a ticketing system
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Networking preferred
- CCNA/Cisco certification preferred
