Role Description The Cost Accountant role at Kari-Out is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater Buenos Aires. This role is responsible for maintaining and analyzing cost records, preparing cost reports, and supporting pricing decisions for products and operations. Daily activities include tracking and allocating production costs, preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling inventory and variance accounts, and supporting the month-end close process.

Accountant will assist in preparing and interpreting financial statements, analyzing margins and profitability,



and providing cost-related insights to operations and finance leadership. The role collaborates closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency, ensure data accuracy, and support budget and forecast activities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in cost accounting, including product costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Experience preparing and interpreting financial statements, with a focus on cost and profitability metrics.
- Solid analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools to evaluate costs, margins, and trends.
- Hands-on experience with journal entries (accounting) and general ledger reconciliations.
- Knowledge of finance principles, budgeting, and forecasting in a manufacturing or food service environment.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and ERP/accounting systems; advanced Excel skills are highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or food service industries is preferred.
