Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Regulatory & Accounting Assistant role based in Buenos Aires. The role involves supporting day-to-day regulatory compliance activities, including preparing documentation for local authorities, maintaining up-to-date records, and assisting with regulatory filings and audits. The assistant will help the accounting team with bookkeeping tasks, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports. The position also includes monitoring changes in relevant regulations, coordinating with internal stakeholders to implement compliance requirements, and assisting in the development and maintenance of internal control procedures. The role requires close collaboration with finance and legal teams, timely handling of administrative tasks, and accurate data entry in company systems.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and support for financial reporting.




- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance processes relevant to financial services or payment companies, with the ability to interpret and apply local regulations.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and accounting software; strong skills in Excel and data management.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; working proficiency in English is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain professional relationships with external partners and regulators.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, initiative, and the capacity to work independently within established guidelines.
- Preferred: Degree or ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field; experience in payments, fintech, or financial services is an advantage.
