Role Summary Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant who goes beyond simply checking boxes. This role requires someone who can think critically, provide input, and serve as a trusted thought partner on accounting decisions. The idóneo candidate has a strong command of GAAP accounting , understands how accounting choices impact the broader business, and is comfortable discussing ideas, improvements, and edge cases with leadership. Key Responsibilities Prepare and record journal entries,



account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Support cash flow tracking and bank reconciliation. Prepare financial reporting and assist with analysis of variances. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking. Help coordinate external audits and respond to audit requests. Maintain accurate fixed asset schedules. Support compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, customer support) to resolve accounting issues.
