Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting volunteers across various programs and initiatives. This role includes organizing volunteer schedules, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring volunteers have the information and resources needed to perform their tasks effectively. The Coordinator will communicate regularly with volunteers and internal teams, provide training materials, and facilitate virtual meetings or orientations.

Day-to-day responsibilities also involve coordinating community outreach activities, monitoring volunteer engagement, and recommending improvements to volunteer processes to better support Ecologix US’s mission.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training, including organizing onboarding and ongoing support.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities,



with capacity to engage and motivate diverse volunteer groups.
- Background in Community Outreach, community engagement, or partnership building with external organizations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in scheduling and record-keeping.
- Comfort working in a remote environment, using digital tools for collaboration, tracking, and communication.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Prior experience coordinating volunteers in nonprofit, civic, or technology-focused initiatives is beneficial.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, Communications) or equivalent practical experience preferred.
