Senior Integration Engineer – Python & Security Data · Remote · LATAM
At Darwoft, we’re looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to join an international product company operating in the Cybersecurity and Identity Security space. You’ll help build and deploy the integrations that enable the platform to collect identity activity, security events, logs, and network telemetry from complex enterprise environments.
This is a hands-on engineering role at the intersection of software development, data ingestion, enterprise integrations, and customer-facing solution delivery. It is not a traditional analytics or data warehouse position.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build production-grade collectors, connectors, and data ingestion services.
- Develop backend and integration components primarily using Python.
- Integrate security and infrastructure platforms through REST APIs, SDKs, event streams, logs, and cloud services.
- Process, normalize, and reliably transport high-volume security and identity data.
- Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their architecture, data sources, technical requirements, and security constraints.
- Lead or participate in technical discovery, integration design, onboarding, deployment, and production troubleshooting.
- Diagnose complex issues involving APIs, authentication, permissions, networking, infrastructure, and distributed data pipelines.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Solution Architecture, and Customer Success teams.
- Turn customer-specific solutions into reusable capabilities for the core platform.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive professional experience in Software Engineering, Integration Engineering, Data Platform Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Python.
- Proven experience building connectors, integration frameworks, ingestion pipelines, or distributed backend services.
- Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with operational data such as events, logs, alerts, telemetry, or activity records.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Production experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across distributed environments.
- Experience integrating complex third-party or enterprise platforms.
- Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous technical environments.
- Experience collaborating directly with customers or external technical stakeholders.
- English B2/C1, with the ability to participate in technical discovery and architecture conversations.
Cybersecurity Experience
We’re particularly interested in engineers who have worked with one or more of the following areas:
- IAM and Identity Providers: Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Duo, Ping Identity.
- SIEM and Security Analytics: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, Google SecOps.
- SASE, Zero Trust, and Network Security: Zscaler, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco.
- Endpoint Security and EDR: CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, or similar platforms.
- Cloud Security and Identity: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- PAM and Secrets Management: CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager.
- Security events, authentication activity, network flows, logs, and telemetry.
You don’t need experience with every technology listed. What matters is understanding how enterprise systems expose security data and having the engineering ability to transform heterogeneous sources into reliable and scalable product integrations.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Go.
- Kafka, streaming systems, or high-volume event processing.
- Connector SDKs or reusable integration platforms.
- Identity Security, Identity Observability, IAM, or ITDR.
- Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, Customer Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering experience.
- Experience working for a cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS product company.
- Familiarity with service accounts, machine identities, workloads, or non-human identities.
- Exposure to AI/ML, LLMs, or AI-powered security products.
