We are looking for a Platform Software Engineer to help us build tools with Python and AWS. You will work on systems that help our teams work better. You will build APIs, connect different platforms, and create tools that make work easier for other engineers.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build cost tracking systems that connect with tools like GitHub, Slack, PagerDuty, and DockerBuild and take care of internal APIs using Python and FastAPISet up deployment methods, monitoring rules, and clear documentation for APIsDevelop identity management tools that work with Active Directory and Microsoft EntraLead work to update infrastructure, including CI/CD changes and AWS Lambda setupMake developer tools such as templates, GitHub Copilot guides, and browser extensionsSet up monitoring and alert systems using New RelicHelp create company-wide rules for good code qualityWork with other teams to connect systems like Snowflake, SonarQube, and ServiceNowKeep Terraform code updated for AWS resources like Lambda, ECS,
and S3Requirements2+ years of experience as a software engineer with good Python skillsExperience building REST APIs with FastAPI or FlaskKnowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, SSM, and API GatewaySkills in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code workExperience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automationFamiliarity with Docker and container toolsUnderstanding of identity systems like Active Directory, Azure AD, and SSOExperience with monitoring tools, especially New RelicGood testing habits, including unit and integration testsEnglish proficiency at B2 level or higherNice to haveExperience with modern Python tools like uv, bumpver, Black, and pytestBackground in developer experience or platform engineeringExperience with GitHub Enterprise admin and webhooksFamiliarity with Snowflake or similar data toolsKnowledge of PagerDuty for incident management
